Robust, stylish and functional with an attractive design and elegant lines for epicureans, families and hard-working skippers. In addition to a number of improvements and smart, functional solutions, the biggest changes have taken place below deck. The new hull shape eliminates the planing threshold and allows comfortable sailing at speeds between 0 and 22 knots, with lower fuel consumption.
The biggest news is the hull of the ship, a completely new design and optimized for speeds from 0 to 22 knots. The hull is made for smaller engines and is built so that you can always sail comfortably, regardless of your speed. Thanks to the hydrodynamic shape of the hull, there is no threshold at which the ship will plan.
We at Nimbus want a ship to sail comfortably at the usual speeds. We know that the Coupé owners like to cross at speeds between 4 and 20 knots, where a ship at a speed of about 10 knots often pulls a big fence wave and consumes a lot of fuel. For the Nimbus 305 Coupé we designed a hull that sails comfortably over the entire speed range. In practice, the 305 Coupé has no plantation threshold and low fuel consumption at all speeds. The speed can be adjusted to the weather conditions, which enhances safety, increases comfort and gives seafarers every opportunity to enjoy the environment," says Mats Jacobsson, Product Development Manager at Nimbus.
