The Nimbus 495 Flybridge was developed with the idea of meeting every conceivable need, both today and in the future. A boat for extended voyages that exudes Scandinavian style and a lifestyle that functions optimally on all waters, in warm and cold climates. “With the 495 Concept, we aim to expand the Coupé concept while simultaneously further consolidating the Nimbus legacy from earlier and existing coupé models.
“It is our experience that boats built for a coastal landscape, with archipelagos, islands, islets, fjords, wave patterns, and current conditions that can vary significantly within just a few nautical miles, possess characteristics that work in all waters. By translating all this experience into practice in the 495 Concept, it is our ambition to create a boat based on the best solutions developed through experience with boat usage in the Scandinavian coastal landscape,” says Joacim Gustavvson, Chief Designer Nimbus Group.
The Nimbus 495 Flybridge has the space, comfort, and capacity to be a home on the water for extended periods. For this reason, the tank capacity is dimensioned to cover long distances but also to allow for long-term mooring in a natural harbor without worrying about electricity supply, a source of fresh water, or “black” water capacity.
One of the key features of the boat's design is that it is just as easy and forgiving to handle for two people in a demanding Scandinavian archipelago as it is comfortable and safe for a couple or family wishing to make a long journey along the North Sea coasts, across European rivers, or in the Mediterranean.
The Nimbus 495 Flybridge is available with a fixed mast and with an electrically folding mast (option).
